our process

Our process is collaborative, considered and shaped around the requirements of each commission.

1. Enquiry

Complete the relevant form with as much information as you currently have. Your date, location, approximate guest count or audience, intended investment and initial creative direction will help us understand the scope of your project.

2. Review & Consultation

We personally review every enquiry before responding with our availability and the most appropriate next step.

For weddings and private events, this will usually be a consultation to discuss the setting, atmosphere and priorities for the celebration. For corporate and brand projects, we may begin with a creative brief, production schedule or project meeting.

3. Creative Direction & Proposal

Following our conversation, we develop an initial creative direction and tailored quotation.

Depending on the project, this may include visual references, floral concepts, proposed installations, material considerations and an itemised scope of work. The proposal gives us a thoughtful starting point from which the design can continue to develop.

4. Commissioning the Studio

When you are ready to proceed, we will prepare the relevant agreement and booking documents.

Your wedding or event date is secured once the signed terms and booking fee have been received. Commercial projects are confirmed according to the payment schedule and approval requirements outlined in their individual scope

5. Installation & Celebration

With every detail confirmed, we begin bringing the design to life.

Our team carefully sources seasonal botanical materials, prepares each design in our studio and installs every floral element with precision before your guests arrive. Once your celebration has concluded, we’ll return to carefully dismantle and pack down where required.

6. PRODUCTION & INSTALLATION

Behind the scenes, our team manages sourcing, production, logistics, installation and pack-down.

On site, each element is placed with close attention to the space and its relationship to the wider design. The finished work should feel resolved, intentional and entirely particular to the occasion.

OUR COMMISSIONS

Mrs Gibbons Flowers accepts a limited number of commissions each year. This allows our studio to remain closely involved in the creative development and delivery of every project.

We work throughout Sydney, the South Coast of NSW, the Southern Highlands, the Hunter Valley and selected destinations beyond.I

nvestment varies according to location, scale, seasonality, access requirements and installation complexity. Relevant starting investments should appear within each individual enquiry form, where they can be tailored to the type of project.
